Every public library that has a section for small business should have a copy of all 12 volumes of Business Plans Handbook.

QUESTION.
I’m new to this entrepreneur thing, and I’m having trouble writing my business plan. I have gotten three books on how to go about writing my plan. All three seem to be pretty good. But I think I need to see some sample business plans so I have some examples to play with. What should I do to get some samples?

ANSWER.
Visit your library and read the Business Plans Handbook series. If you library doesn’t have the books, then suggest that they get them. Every library should have the series. They are a great resource. For a listing of the sample business plans included in the series, see www.jlippin.com/bph/.

I hope my comments are helpful to you. Good luck! Regards, -Jeff
